Home cooking style, usually large portions, average price.good service service
Would definitely need some lead time and set up since restaurant not normally arranged for such seating from my experience would essentially take the centre of the restaurant. restaurant
Nice little place, clean and well kept. Our server was lovely. We went for breakfast and found it a little on the bland side but it was hot and fresh and the portion size was good. I’d like to try some of their lunch/dinner stuff.
Friendly and yummy. We enjoyed our poutine.
friendly service. delicious and quick.
Good breakfast. Good sized portion for the price. Very friendly waitress! We all ordered the breakfast special and it was tasty!
We are heading fro Toronto to Charlottetown. I have had a very nice experience 7 years ago in this restaurant, so for the second time I ate lunch with my family there. The service was excellant.. and quick. The restaurant was very cozy and cleen. The staff was polite. Do not miss its steak, chicken and onion soup.
We had the Brushetta chicken which was fantastic and a Taco salad which was just ok. Since the Barking Squirrel beer was so good I gave Anthony's 4 stars.
Poorly staffed. Rushed, short worded service (4:30pm on a Wednesday. Really?). Poor beer selection. Unappealing generic pub food. Sure there's a patio, but the no breeze allows flies to fester and pester clients.
Nice to hang out with local brewery beer
Amazing & friendly staff and the food was great priced and very tasty. Would recommend that you check it out.
Team as a whole, very friendly and give great customer service to each customer! I saw them being nice to everyone!
Food was good. Servings were generous. Staff was friendly. Booths were a bit cramped. Washroom was clean, but smallish and the can had been stunned (obviously not their fault, and they went to address it as soon as I let them know). Patio looked nice, although not too big- there was a largish group out there, so we opted to stay in the A/C. Spinach dip was decadent, I recommend it, prime rib was fine, veggies were unexpectedly zingy but tasty, salad was fresh. Very nice setting in the heart of picturesque Gananoque, walking distance to the 1000 Islands harbour, across the street from a beautiful pond with swans, minutes from the 401. 20mins east of Kingston along hwy 2, and worth the visit, I'd say.
We had an amazing breakfast on the outdoor patio. The staff / owner are so nice.
Food is just ok, service is ok and that’s it. There must be better options around.
The food and service were both amazing! Special thanks to Angela for the supper!
Not bad with the challenges we are all facing.
Breakfast was terrible. Potatoes tasted like they were fried in last century’s oil, sausage was such a bad quality it felt like a mouthful of fat.
A must try in the summer with their patio.
Overall ok. Appetizers were delicious. Ordered Chicken Fajitas and was very disappointed with how it was made and had to send it back however they were kind enough to make me a different meal (I chose Chicken fingers and fries) which was good. Staff was very friendly and restaurant was clean and cozy.
Stopped by for lunch on a road trip. Had the soup and sandwich deal. While the service was stellar, the food was underwhelming - slapped together, underseasoned and bland. The soup was all right but the sandwich was sad. Store bought basic bread, with a few pieces of turkey, a leaf of lettuce and slice of processed cheese. Really very little thought or effort went in to this meal, and it showed. Wouldn't return.
Food is beyond excellent and the staff are super friendly
This place needs a serious restaurant intervention. This place is not very clean and is very tired looking. My French onion soup consisted of cheese and soggy bread with approximately 3 onions. The stir fry was drowned in a horrible sauce. We had a $150.00 bill for horrible food. The service was great tho, you could kind of tell the server knows the food isn't great since she never asked us how everything was even if my plate was loaded with soggy bread from the soup. Not many restaurants have good reviews in this town so it was a gamble either way. You need low standards for this place. No thanks!
Service was good. Prices were fair. Food was just O.K...despite the pasta having bacon and several herbs, it had very little taste and the sauce was watery. I had to add lots of salt for it to be flavorful. This pasta dish was disappointing and left me burping it up even the next morning. Philly cheesecake was just O.K as well. We would not go back.
Yum! The bruschetta and beef dip were both delish. We arrived at 7 and the patio was packed. We sat inside and shortly after they started turning people away due to a 30min kitchen wait. I would definitely recommend eating here as the food and service are fantastic, but be prepared it’s quite busy.
Food is delicious and served in a timely manner. Place is very clean and outside seating is decent. Staff is super super friendly and they can give you ideas about what to do in town.
Ist time visitors to this quaint little eatery and it was great. We went with friends who recommended it and did not disappoint.
It was okay. My wrap was good but I wouldn't call it great. I wouldn't call any of the food great. Staff was nice and prompt. There were only a few other diners here during dinner. The prices for so-so food mean I would probably not return.
We only tried their breakfast menu, and they are very good, good portion and price, parking is not free, dollar per hour on the meters, however if you are going to the boat tour and going to park there anyways, it is just a short 10 mins walk from the boat parking.
Friendly........ good food and service
Friendly service and good food will bring us back when we are near Ganonauque.
Easy to sit and eat, nothing over the top.
In town for work. Came in for breakfast do to a rain day. Food was grate. Low price for the large amount of food you get. Will definitely stop back in for breakfast again.
Good staff and food needs something to make it stand out
It's an ok restaurant. The poutine was disappointing, it was shredded cheese and not cheese curds, a real true poutine has curds!
Very unassuming restaurant -clean inside and spacious. There is outdoor seating which is really nice. The food tasted so much better than expected - basic but very good.
Great spot for good food and a nice little patio.
Great patio, delicious food, smiling wait staff. We will be back for sure
The special was reasonably priced, both me and my guest were very satisfied with our food
We visited Anthony's for breakfast, service was excellent. All three of us had the breakfast special, portions were large, everything was cooked as requested and tasted great. The price was also very reasonable.
Thr staff were pleasant and friendly there was a good selection and prices were reasonable. Also a great downtown location.
Friendly staff... food was awesome best club sandwich I've had. My wife's Quesadilla was amazing. Fresh not over cooked for both. Try a refreshing lemonade 😋
Friendly staff comfy place food was alright.
Good food and friendly staff
A nice place to have a nice beer and eat. I had an amazing Carbonara pasta that I miss a lot. Next time in Gananoque I will eat there again for sure!
Great menu- was a crowd pleaser for our whole group. Outdoor seating was a major bonus. Nice service, nice food— would recommend for a casual lunch or dinner in Town. Check out the cute little shops and galleries on the same street— a good time was had by all
Food was good service was v good, would defo eat there again if i was in town :)
Food was delish, service was amazing!
Probably my favorite place for a casual dinner. Food is always excellent, well priced and the staff wonderful. Definitely recommend.
This place was a good experience. The patio was busy and the staff were friendly. The drink selection is very good and the food fast and tasty. Covid precautions **I’m not a professional so this is subjective but things I noted were: The good:-Patio tables were well spaced-Took phone numbers for contact tracing The not so good: -Staff was wearing a shield however it was angled upwards so it didn’t seem to be protecting her or the guests well. She was however doing well to social distance from guests. -Shared menus were used
Love eating at Anthonys. Julie and Jen and the chef were friendly. Food was served quickly and it was awesome. Will go back.
Excellent meal, good service
